7 Facts About Me

Theresa from A Bumpy Path tagged me with the 7 facts meme. I really like this meme, because with this meme you get to know some funny facts about people that you otherwise would not know.

Here’s the rules:

1. List these rules on your blog.
2. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog.
3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.
4. Let them know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

You’ll have to read on for my 7 facts and see who I tagged.

  1. I hate going to the hairdresser. I haven’t been to one for about a year, so my hair is getting pretty long now.
  2. I am thinking about getting a tattoo on my foot or my ankle. I have been thinking about that for years now and since I can’t make up my mind about what I want it might never happen.
  3. Somehow I get better along with guys than with girls. I’ve had a few female friends, but unfortunately in the end the friendship always turned sour. Guys don’t give me as much drama.

Loving life

I have had a great weekend so far. I almost feel spoiled because I got to spend so much time with Lee and his kids. Friday I had him all to myself. You got to love a guy who knows how to cook. Lee made a delicious dinner for two and after that we went to the beach together to go for a swim and watch the sunset. We talked for hours about all sorts of stuff and also about our lack of time together. He was actually the one who brought it up.

Lee had really thought about what I had said and had came up with a few ideas. One of them is to stay over on Monday and Friday night and have breakfast the next day before going our seperate way again. I thought that was cool because I get up at 5am during the week, so I guess it must be real love if you want to get up that early just to have breakfast with me. At least this way we get to spend a bit more time alone. The weekends we’ll just see what happens. Oh… and he gave me the key to his house so I can come and go whenever I want. Sweet!

A fun week

It is unbelievable how fast the week has gone by. Since my talk with Lee on Monday I have decided to enjoy myself a bit more when he isn’t around. I figured that I can do two things; I can get all frustrated about our lack of time together, or I can do things fun things when he’s not around and enjoy the time we are together. I choose the last one (for now).

This week I’ve had a lot of fun at work with Mark and Patrick. They decided to throw me into the pool with clothes and all at the end of my shift on Tuesday. I was soaking wet and I didn’t have any other dry clothes with me. So the whole week I’ve been trying to get some revenge by turning on the sprinklers whenever they walk on the grass or by turning on the hose and pointing it in their direction. I guess it turned into a bit of a game and today Mark and Patrick showed up with those big water pistols. I have had so much fun and we’ve laughed so much that my belly muscles are aching from it. It’s almost like we’re little kids again.
