Thursday morning after I finished the squad training at work Annie came up to me for a chat. That is nothing special, because a lot of members of the squad group like to come up to me for a chat and discuss their progress. But Annie had a special request; if I could put in a good word for her with Pete. Looks like Pete has got an admirer!!!

I thought this was great news, because for a while now he’s been trying to set me up with Lee, so now it’s my turn to return the favour. See how he likes that! Anyway, since I really like Annie, I decided to invite her to hang out with us tomorrow at the beach. That way she can have a chat with him herself. If things go well, I will make it my mission to set them up together.

I gave Lee a ring to let him know that Annie was coming as well. He knew who she was and said he didn’t had a problem with it. He asked if I was coming to the gym in the evening so we could work out together. I had been planning on going there in the afternoon, but I told him I’d be there. I thought it was a good idea to let him in on the plan as long as he promised not to tell Pete.

So in the afternoon, instead of going to the gym like I had planned, I decided to do some much needed cleaning in my house. Oh, how I wish I had someone who could come in and do that work for me. Just kidding, it stops me from becoming totally lazy. When I had everything done I had plenty of time left to be lazy and read a book in my new hammock in the backyard.

In the evening I went to the gym and worked my butt off. Working out with someone else always gives you that extra motivation to push harder. Especially when you are working out with a guy. Anyway, I told Lee about my little plan to set Pete up with Annie. Lee said he wasn’t too sure about it, but I told him that I was merely returning the favour. I asked him if Pete had been trying to set him up with ’someone’ and since Lee started to blush I knew he’d done the same thing to Lee as he’d been doing to me. So I just told Lee that it would be payback time!
