It is unbelievable how fast the week has gone by. Since my talk with Lee on Monday I have decided to enjoy myself a bit more when he isn’t around. I figured that I can do two things; I can get all frustrated about our lack of time together, or I can do things fun things when he’s not around and enjoy the time we are together. I choose the last one (for now).

This week I’ve had a lot of fun at work with Mark and Patrick. They decided to throw me into the pool with clothes and all at the end of my shift on Tuesday. I was soaking wet and I didn’t have any other dry clothes with me. So the whole week I’ve been trying to get some revenge by turning on the sprinklers whenever they walk on the grass or by turning on the hose and pointing it in their direction. I guess it turned into a bit of a game and today Mark and Patrick showed up with those big water pistols. I have had so much fun and we’ve laughed so much that my belly muscles are aching from it. It’s almost like we’re little kids again.

On Wednesday evening I went to one of those information evenings that Nick organises about sea life. I thought it would be fun to learn a bit more about the sea animals and corals that I can see when I go snorkerling. It was a very interesting night where I’ve learned a lot. It was also very cool to see how such a shy guy as Nick can transform into a very passionate speaker. He defenitley knows his stuff. At the end he invited me to come with him on a Saturday afternoon and dive on the reef. Years ago I have done a dive course and passed for the open water certificate, but I haven’t done any diving since so I can’t wait to go diving again.

And now it’s Friday again… The weekend is in front of our doorstep and I can’t wait to see Lee when he gets home from work. I hope you all have a great weekend. Do you have any plans for the weekend?
