Issues with webhosting

As you might have noticed I have some issues with my webhosting. They have - without notifying me - blocked me and deleted my blog.

Fortunately an internet friend has offered me to bring my blog under at her webhosting account.

Please bare with me while I try to build this blog back up from scratch.

Update: Thank goodness for Google cache. I have been able to cut & paste most posts

I’m very sorry to hear that. What a shame about all your previous posts!(I’m glad I’ve read most of them, but it’s a crying shame for those who have missed out.) Hope you get up and running soon.

What webhosting company is that??? I do hope you get all your posts back. Try the wayback machine, you might see your old posts there

That bites! There’s a plugin that you can set up to automatically backup your stuff. I’ll dig up that link and send it to you.

I hope that hosting company gave you a refund. I think you have a great friend to allow you to host with her.

That is not fun. Which web host was it? Of course all of them have some rules of deleting without notification if the content isn’t according to their TOS, but I don’t think that would be the issue here. I better go and take back ups of mine.

I hope that everything will work out well in the end. I had a few unhappy incidences with my webhosting company too but deleting your blog away like that is kind of bad.
