Not amused

Have you ever written a post and after re-reading it (before publishing) you decide that maybe you should not post it? I think I have about five posts sitting in my drafts section right now. All of them have different reasons why I haven’t post them (yet); too personal, too emotional, too much ranting in one post, etc. This week I wrote a post about what happened on Monday night/Tuesday morning and after re-reading it, I decided that I better not post it. Why? Because I was extremely angry when I wrote it. Now that I’ve calmed down I will tell you about it, in less harsh words.

Monday night was great; movie night with my friends. We watched ‘Knocked up’. I thought it was a pretty funny movie and we had a good laugh about it. After the movie Lee stayed over and the next morning we had breakfast at 5am. I thought it was so cool that he wanted to have breakfast with me so early. When I was ready to go to work I was in such a good mood, but that changed pretty quickly when I got to my car. I immediately crashed from cloud nine down to earth. Why? Because the tyres of my car were flat. Not one, not two, no… All four of them were flat! Turned out that some psycho had slashed my tyres. I have a pretty good idea of who might have done that, but unfortunately I have no way to proof it. Fortunately Lee drove me to work otherwise I would have been too late.

7 Facts About Me

Theresa from A Bumpy Path tagged me with the 7 facts meme. I really like this meme, because with this meme you get to know some funny facts about people that you otherwise would not know.

Here’s the rules:

1. List these rules on your blog.
2. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog.
3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.

You’ll have to read on for my 7 facts and see who I tagged.

1. I hate going to the hairdresser. I haven’t been to one for about a year, so my hair is getting pretty long now.
2. I am thinking about getting a tattoo on my foot or my ankle. I have been thinking about that for years now and since I can’t make up my mind about what I want it might never happen.
3. Somehow I get better along with guys than with girls. I’ve had a few female friends, but unfortunately in the end the friendship always turned sour. Guys don’t give me as much drama.
4. As a kid I believed I could ’swim’ in the air. I was very disappointed when I found out that I was just dreaming that I could.
5. I’m addicted to water; I drink at least 4 liters a day, I swim in it every day and if I can’t I stand in the shower for a very long time to feel the water on my skin.
6. I don’t think I could live without my laptop.
7. I knew I wanted to work in the swimming pool since I was four years old.

A fun week

It is unbelievable how fast the week has gone by. Since my talk with Lee on Monday I have decided to enjoy myself a bit more when he isn’t around. I figured that I can do two things; I can get all frustrated about our lack of time together, or I can do things fun things when he’s not around and enjoy the time we are together. I choose the last one (for now).

This week I’ve had a lot of fun at work with Mark and Patrick. They decided to throw me into the pool with clothes and all at the end of my shift on Tuesday. I was soaking wet and I didn’t have any other dry clothes with me. So the whole week I’ve been trying to get some revenge by turning on the sprinklers whenever they walk on the grass or by turning on the hose and pointing it in their direction. I guess it turned into a bit of a game and today Mark and Patrick showed up with those big water pistols. I have had so much fun and we’ve laughed so much that my belly muscles are aching from it. It’s almost like we’re little kids again.
